The Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic, Sequim’s Free Clinic, is pleased to announce a screening of the powerful documentary “Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story” at Olympic Theatre Arts on Saturday, November 9th at 1:00 PM and Sunday, November 10th at 2:00 PM. This special event includes a unique opportunity for attendees to engage in an in-depth panel discussion following each screening..

The film captures the inspiring life of Stan Brock, a former cowboy in the Amazon who became an international healthcare advocate and founded Remote Area Medical (RAM). RAM's mission to provide free healthcare to underserved populations aligns with the vision of DVHWC, which strives to bridge the healthcare gap in our community.

Through this screening, community members will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about healthcare challenges and how they can be part of the solution. The event aims to raise awareness about the ongoing efforts of both RAM and DVHWC to improve healthcare access in underserved areas of Washington State and beyond.

Admission to the event is by suggested donation at the door or online, with all proceeds going to support DVHWC’s free clinic services.
Panel Discussion with Healthcare Leaders

Following each screening, attendees are invited to stay for a panel discussion that will explore the current state of healthcare access in the United States and its impact on local communities. The panel will feature:
